I love reading and as of now that is fiction only. Love all genres except horror and for the past few years, been gorging on romance. Thrillers are my first love and add some romance to it then all the more better.

Stranger Is Watching

A Stranger is Watching - Linda Randall Wisdom I enjoyed this second chance at love story, the best thing was that these two had not stopped loving each other in the three years they had been separated instead they had grown become stronger. When the book starts they are in love, she is an upcoming artist and he is a US Marshall and despite being so different they love each other even if the heroine wants kids while he who has seen so much darkness in life, doesn't. Then things change she becomes a witness and has to go into the program and he is willing to go with her, but she doesn't let him because she doesn't want to take him away from a job he loves but he loves her more and she didn't know he had a ring in his pocket and maybe even was willing to try for kids but the trial kept them separated and then she went away. He tried but just couldn't do the job anymore and quit and then he is called, Jenna has been attacked and is calling for him.

From the start these two fight a losing battle, not to become involved again because they know they will be separated again and for a time they succeed. The hero sees the changes in the heroine, she used to believe but now she has changed, she has become wary because she lost her art, her life and the man she loved and had to cope. She is also afraid after she was attacked.

I liked seeing these two interact, it was flirty and fun and these two had grown. I also liked seeing how the hero tried to teach her to protect herself and these two gradually came to the realization that they couldn't let themselves go again. I also believe it was strongly implied that the hero had been celibate.
