I love reading and as of now that is fiction only. Love all genres except horror and for the past few years, been gorging on romance. Thrillers are my first love and add some romance to it then all the more better.

Brennan Baby (Man Of The Month) (Harlequin Desire)

Brennan Baby (Man Of The Month) (Harlequin Desire) - Barbara Boswell Rating 3.25
So, the heroine of this book has a history of being abandoned and has always never gotten involved with men, until the hero, but even with him she keeps parts of herself separate and knows he never gets serious. So, her mind thinks he is losing interest and she breaks up with him, even when she finds out she is pregnant, she doesn't tell him instead she marries her gay foster brother in a fake marriage to give her baby the legtimacy she didn't have. See, you can already see how her crazy brain works? I could get past that, somehow they end up neighbours and she is terrified of her deception coming out but the usually intelligent hero never ever questions the baby could be his and it isn't until his cousin tells him, that he figures it out.

From that point the book went downhill, suddenly the heroine's stupid idea that the hero was in love with his friend blah blah became boring plus the stupid woman she kept quoting. Then, the hero behaved stupidly later as well, not supporting her when she needed and thinking like a doctor instead of the husband of a woman who had been abandoned. All in all the beginning of the book was great but sadly that was not the case throughout.
