I love reading and as of now that is fiction only. Love all genres except horror and for the past few years, been gorging on romance. Thrillers are my first love and add some romance to it then all the more better.
Winter's Daughter - Kathleen Creighton Rating 3.5 stars
The book had its good moments, the dumb one's were all the heroine's I must admit, she to complete her PhD was masquerading as a bag lady, and took unnecessary and stupid chances with her safety even after getting to know the ex-cop turned lawyer turned council man hero.

I found the heroine's skittishness to emotional intimacy unnecessary. She seemed too focused on achieving something than enjoying what came in life. Her meeting with her boyhood boyfriend and losing her virginity to him, kind of made her even more wary. I thought this incident was made out to be larger than it was and I loved the hero, he was great, the heroine not too much with her sometimes stupid actions. For once I wanted the heroine to grovel.
