I love reading and as of now that is fiction only. Love all genres except horror and for the past few years, been gorging on romance. Thrillers are my first love and add some romance to it then all the more better.
One in a Billion - Beth Kery I really enjoyed this book a lot, the conflict was plausible and so were the uncertainties the h/H had. I loved the vulnerability of the heroine, she had had a father who died the day she learnt that she wasn't his biologically and she ran away and remained estranged with her mother, then came the truth about her real father and she got the chance to be with him for a few months. His death hit her hard because she lost another father and the hero Nick who was his right hand man was suspicious of her and her motives all the time and then her father's new will came out in which she was part heir.

The conflict was that Nick had stood to inherit all but then the heroine came into the picture. It was great that Nick wasn't jealous, he just wanted to make sure that his mentor had not been manipulated and had been of sound mind, that did actually put a barrier to their relationship. They got to know each other while waiting for the DNA results but when money is involved doubts creep in.

All in all I really liked Nick and the book. Can't wait to read Ryan's book.
